This project was supported by the TerraCircle Microgrant programme…
Inside, you’ll find 55 healthy recipes designed to prevent and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes a disease that affects nearly 30% of the Marshall Islands population.
Recipes were contributed by students, teachers, PSS educators, Canvasback Wellness staff, and reviewed by Assoc. Professor Sarah Burkhart (University of Sunshine Coast, Australia).
This cookbook is more than recipes, it’s about gardening, growing fresh food, and promoting healthy habits in schools and communities across RMI. It encourages us to move, eat well, and connect with the land for stronger, healthier futures.
Healthy Futures was published by Canvasback Wellness Centre, Majuro, Republic of the Marshall Islands, 2025.
