APACE has developed an 8 step process for evaluating and implementing community hydro projects. The pre-feasibility visit (Step 3) looks at many factors, encompassing both the capacity of the community and of the water source. Since the WPREP project began in 1994, some dozens of communities in various provinces have been surveyed.
